Bang Khla Royal Development Project
On April 23, 1997, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great granted an order to an audience at Khao Hin Son Royal Development Study Center regarding the extensive development of education to farmers in the villages nearby the center. In addition to sandy soil problems in the areas, highly acidic soil is a concern in the 114 rai plot of land of the royal project located in Village No. 3, Samed Nuea Sub-district, Bang Khla District, Chachoengsao Province. This area was originally a farming area with highly acidic soil that had damaged the productivity of local agriculture. Khao Hin Son Royal Development Study Center began to carry out the royal initiative with the intention to improve the areas to demonstrate farming, bring about sustainable agriculture with good management of soil and water conservation, and soil improving technology for local people to earn a living in the area.
